 # Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg is One of the Highest-Ranked CEOs in the U.S.

Business leaders are often judged by the financial success of their company. But every year Glassdoor lets employees be the critics.

This year New York bosses were rated among the best by those who work for them. Chief executives in the New York metro area landed 13 spots on the job site's annual [100 Highest Rated U.S. CEOs list](https://www.glassdoor.com/Award/Highest-Rated-CEOs-LST_KQ0,18.htm). The tally comes in second to San Francisco, whose Silicon Valley leaders earned 16 slots.  
  
Among the CEOs on the list again are Memorial Sloan Kettering's Craig B. Thompson, Goldman Sachs' Lloyd Blankfein and BlackRock's Laurence Fink.  
  
New to the ranking is former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, CEO of Bloomberg LP.
