 # FlexPrint National Managed Print Solutions Proudly Supports Whole Planet Foundation's Power Your Purpose Virtual 5K Run

FlexPrint and several of their employees proudly supported and participated in Whole Planet Foundation’s “Power Your Purpose Virtual 5K Run” on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Pivoting from a physical 5K Run in Austin, Texas to an online event due to COVID-19 meant joining Whole Planet Foundation virtually from a safe distance to alleviate poverty through microcredit around the globe.

“*We are so happy to have FlexPrint as a proud sponsor and participant of our Power Your Purpose Virtual 5K*”, states Jason Martinez, Fundraising Program Manager for Whole Planet Foundation. “*Thank you so much for all you do to help us reach additional microentrepreneurs with economic opportunity!*”

Over 1,500 people gathered virtually to participate in this worthy cause and raised over $60,000 that will fund 345 average first microloans and create 1,800 opportunities for entrepreneurs and their families to prosper. On average, microcredit loans are less than $200 and enable low-income entrepreneurs, mostly women, to start or develop their own small businesses to support their families. Whole Planet Foundation alleviates poverty in the United States and 76 other countries.

“*As part of our ongoing commitment to our customers and dedication to our communities at large, we’re proud to partner with Whole Planet Foundation*,” stated Corey Rivard, President of FlexPrint – a Flex Technology Group Company. “*It was an honor to support this worthy cause and Whole Planet Foundation in bringing this virtual event to fruition*”.

FlexPrint started supporting Whole Planet Foundation last year with a $25,000 sponsorship and is continuing their support in 2020 through the Virtual 5K as a Silver Sponsor.
