Global Brands manage supply chains with hundreds, thousands, and sometimes more than a hundred thousand suppliers. The SEC's Dodd-Frank Section 1502 Conflict minerals rule requiring public companies to disclose minerals sourced from conflicted regions sent a sound wave of panic starting in procurement and ending in the Board Room given the legal and financial implications of compliance with the SEC's new Rule.

Companies spent a lot of time trying to figure out what Conflict Minerals Compliance requires of their company. As the halfway mark for the first reporting period has passed many of these companies are requesting training and proposals for a solution to their Conflict Minerals Compliance program.
