The Riverside Department of Animal Services recently reached a milestone that represents a paradigm shift in shelter medicine. By implementing [Trutect™](https://mypetandi.elanco.com/en_ca/defeatparvo) (formerly Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody)—the first and only USDA-approved treatment for Canine Parvovirus—they have successfully achieved a 63% reduction in Parvo-related euthanasia rates year-to-date.
