Ms. Shelley is the Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Denbury Resources, an independent oil and natural gas company specializing in enhanced oil recovery. With more than 20 years of experience in senior level human resources roles, Shelley has undoubtedly proved that she is deserving of such a distinguished award. “It is an honor to recognize such an admirable leader as our DFW Woman of the Year,” says Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of National Diversity Council. “Women like Ms. Shelley exemplify true leadership and inspire men and women alike to strive for success.” The DFW Woman of the Year Award is reserved for a woman who has achieved extraordinary goals in her organizations despite all odds. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas, Ms. Shelley went on to excel in various roles with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Integration, Organizational Change before joining Denbury Resources in November 2009.
