Deloitte was a finalist in more categories than any of its competitors. "These awards are a powerful tribute to our ability to provide innovative strategies and make a measurable impact for our clients,” said Jim Moffatt, chairman and chief executive officer, Deloitte Consulting LLP. “We’re incredibly proud of our client relationships and the way we work side-by-side with our clients to help them solve their most critical issues, capitalize on new opportunities, and effectively navigate the evolving global economy." Deloitte’s Award-winning Projects In the Growth Strategies category, Deloitte consultants applied their deep experience in [M&A integration](http://www.deloitte.com/view/en_US/us/Services/consulting/Strategy-Operations/ma-restructuring/index.htm) to help Ecolab effectively integrate Nalco, the largest acquisition in Ecolab’s history. In the Supply Chain Performance Improvement category, Deloitte helped Keurig, a business unit of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc., design a resilient, expandable global supply chain that decreased variability of manufacturing practices, improved visibility across a global supply chain and increased velocity of information exchange. In the Human Capital category, Deloitte consultants teamed with Pfizer to transform the company’s human resources department into a global function by implementing a new service delivery model across 26 countries, supporting 90,000 colleagues in nine languages. By standardizing policies and processes, and establishing a new global portal with three new global service centers, HR has increased the time it spends serving as a strategic business advisor to managers and the business units. In the Humanitarian category, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) engaged Deloitte to help implement the Comprehensive Peace Agreement that ended Sudan’s second civil war. Six years later, in 2011, South Sudan voted for independence and the Deloitte team shifted focus to nation building. As a result of USAID and Deloitte collaboration, the new democratic nation has the basic institutions of governance, an emerging cadre of trained civil servants, a new constitution, a new currency, and international agreements and regional protocols. Deloitte Award Finalists Deloitte was also a finalist in the following categories: Corporate Social Responsibility, Customer Engagement, Strategic Operating Model Design (for work with Bingham McCutchen LLP) and Operational Performance (for work with the Internal Revenue Service). Winners of the 2013 AMCF Awards were selected in a rigorous process by an independent panel of judges comprised of experienced executives from business, government, journalism and academia.
