WASHINGTON, D.C., March 9, 2016 /3BL Media/ – As part of Global Partnerships Week, Deirdre White, CEO, [PYXERA Global](http://bit.ly/1X7hOVE), will participate in the featured roundtable discussion, “Business Commitment to Make the 2030 SDGs Real” on March 9. Joined by companies and State Department officials, the discussion will look at what can be done to realize the potential of private sector engagement in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“I’m encouraging organizations in all sectors not to choose one goal -- instead pick a problem. Pick one single problem where you think you might be able to have an impact. Pick something you deeply care about,” said White at the [Global Engagement Forum](http://bit.ly/1PnAD5O) last November when addressing corporations, government officials, and social sector organizations on how to address the SDGs. “Think about the resources you have to bring to affect that problem, and then go about finding the partners to help you achieve that.”

Hosted by the State Department, this interactive roundtable will focus on defining private sector incentives to advance the SDGs, scaling corporate engagement in sustainable development, and diving into the role of data. The private sector’s role in accelerating progress on the SDGs is also increasing and will play a key role in making progress on the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
