 # Decorating Safely for the Holidays

 Dec 7, 2016 3:30 PM ET

Campaign: [Quality of Life Content Series](/news/campaign/quality-life-content-series) Nobody wants to spend the holidays in the ER. Last year, more than 90,000 people are treated in the ER for ladder-related injuries and nearly 4,000 injuries associated with extension cords.

At Sodexo we use the 3 Checks for Safety before beginning any task as part of our Zero Harm Mindset. You can ask these questions at home too:

1. Do I know how to do the job?
2. Do I have the right equipment?
3. Is my environment safe?

To learn more about decorating safely for the holidays, view tips from Frank Romeo, Senior Director of Health & Safety for Sodexo.
