DDB Worldwide Communications Group, the global advertising agency, has appointed Susan Dimacali as chair of DDB Cares, their corporate social responsibility arm in the Philippines. Dimacali has pioneered several new businesses for the agency and serves as business adviser for the DDB Group. In the Philippines, the agency uses its creative and media services to create awareness for such issues as environmental health, women’s and children’s rights, and voter education. A part of Omnicom Group , DDB claims the highest agency revenue in the world, reporting income of $12.7 billion dollars in 2008.

Verisae, a leader in Sustainability Resources Planning  Software, which measures, manages, and monetizes energy costs and carbon emissions, has announced that Rapid Consulting Services has joined the company’s partner program. Rapid specializes in helping customers with corporate sustainability and carbon accounting initiatives. This month, Rapid joined the Sustainable Business Leadership Council, a green business association focused on advancing business education in Southern California. Verisae’s software is used by over 40 global clients with 60,000 application users, and tracks over 2.1 million assets across 23,000 Web sites.
