Campbell Soup Company has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the third consecutive year, and to the DJSI World Index for the second time. The DJSI recognized Campbell’s key results including increased sales of nutrition and wellness products by more than 20 percent, the launch of a ten-year program to reduce childhood obesity, purchases of $145 million dollars from women and minority-owned businesses, and the recycling of 83 percent of all waste generated by production.

Nalco has received a 2011 Water Reuse Award for encouraging industrial water reuse. The sustainability services company was cited for its 3D TRASAR automation technology which combines chemistry, advanced sensors, and modeling software to monitor water conditions and add appropriate treatments only when needed. The Water Reuse Association’s Equipment/manufacturer Awards recognize outstanding performance by specialty equipment.
