##### CECP’s Annual Summit Convenes a Corporate Coalition Focused on Societal Investment Representing More than $20 Billion in Giving

NEW YORK, May 19, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Two hundred and fifty senior societal engagement leaders from the world’s largest corporations will convene at CECP’s annual [**Summit: Engage**](http://cecp.co/events/summit/2015-summit.html) in New York City. [**CECP**](http://cecp.co/) is a coalition of CEOs united in the belief that societal improvement is an essential measure of business performance. Speakers and attendees will network and learn together, offering powerful insights on trends, partnerships, and the business case to advance companies’ role as a force for good in society. This year’s theme, *Engage,* draws upon CECP’s unique position in connecting corporate leaders and leading the conversation about purpose through business strategy, while unveiling the [2014 corporate giving trends](http://cecp.co/measurement.html).

“We at CECP see a watershed moment for the field, with companies and CEOs incorporating purpose into their core business strategies,” stated **Daryl Brewster, CEO, CECP**. “The CECP Summit provides a forum for corporate leaders to draw upon their in-depth experiences to network, share, and learn among a global business community.”

The CECP Summit, running May 19-20, offers a line-up of illustrious speakers, including:

- **Vivian R. Pickard, President, General Motors Foundation, Director, Corporate Relations, General Motors Company**, will speak on purpose through perseverance.
- **Carolyn Miles, President and CEO, Save the Children**, will address taking a global approach to deepening engagement.
- **Patrick Burke, President and CEO, HSBC USA** and **Anne M. Mulcahy, Former Chairman and CEO, Xerox Corporation,** moderated by **Diane Brady, Interviewer, Author, Former Senior Editor and Content Chief, *Bloomberg Businessweek*** will share CEO insights on leading with integrity.
- **Wendy Kopp, CEO and Co-Founder, Teach for All**; **Gen. (Ret) Stan McChrystal, Chair, Franklin Project;** and **Tae Yoo, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Cisco Systems,** moderated by **Derrick Feldmann, President, Achieve,** will discuss NextGen Service: A Movement with Momentum.
- **Sue Norton, Vice President of Global Citizenship and Sustainability, PepsiCo** and **Shannon Schuyler, Principal, Corporate Responsibility Leader; President PwC Foundation, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP,** moderated by **Sheryl WuDunn, Co-Founder, FullSky Capital and Author, *A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity*,** will discuss developing winning narratives for corporate societal investment programs.

Workshop sessions will provide corporate giving leaders with the opportunity to engage more deeply into a roundtable discussion on STEM education and creating a culture of innovation.

CECP will unveil the most recent trends in corporate giving and provide an analysis of the [2014 Giving in Numbers Survey](http://cecp.co/measurement.html). This year’s survey, conducted in association with [The Conference Board](http://www.conference-board.org/), had the highest number of respondents to date, with 271 companies submitting data. This trends database is regarded as the leading analysis of corporate societal engagement and giving, and covered widely in media year-round (see related press releases and news articles in CECP’s [Press Room](http://cecp.co/press-room.html)). Results of the Giving in Numbers Survey will be released to the public in June.

At the Summit, CECP’s [Directors’ Award](http://cecp.co/events/excellence-awards.html) and [Charles H. Moore Award for Leadership in Corporate Community Engagement](http://cecp.co/events/excellence-awards/winners.html) will be presented, along with a discussion among the [2015 Excellence Awards winners](http://cecp.co/events/excellence-awards/winners.html).
