PARIS, November 28, 2022 /3BL Media/ - **The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is delighted to announce that Edna Ayme-Yahil has been appointed Communications Director effective November 28th.**

Based out of the CGF’s headquarters in Paris, Edna brings with her 20 years of experience in communications and corporate affairs with international exposure across a variety of industries and sectors – including corporates, intergovernmental organisations, and public-private private partnerships.

*“It is an absolute honour to join an organisation like The Consumer Goods Forum,” says Edna. “I am looking forward to partnering with our members to work on industry-defining initiatives driven by the CGF that help benefit people and planet. It is a privilege to work with such talented colleagues and members on some of the biggest challenges facing the consumer goods industry, including consumer health, deforestation, plastic waste, forced labour, food safety, and product data.”*

Born and raised in the United States, Edna has lived and worked in Europe over the past twenty years. Immediately prior to joining the CGF, Edna was VP, Head of Communications, Brand and Sustainability at SITA, the world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology. Before this, she worked at freight forwarder Panalpina, where she was SVP Head of Marketing and Communications. She has also developed and delivered integrated communications and brand strategies in large global companies and public organisations, including EIT Digital, Nissan, STMicroelectronics, Philip Morris International, and UNESCO. She teaches branding and public relations at ISCOM, École Supérieure de Communication et de Publicité.

Wai-Chan Chan, Managing Director at the CGF, commented: *“I am very much looking forward to working with Edna as a member of CGF’s senior leadership team, as we continue to help the industry ensure better lives through better business. Edna’s vast and diverse experience will bring a fresh perspective to define our communications and marketing strategy and elevate the CGF brand and promote the activities of our eight Coalitions of Action.”*
