Campaign: [2013 Sustainability Report](/node/46737) *Connectivity is changing transportation. Here's how it helps curb distracted driving.*

As more people expect their cars to have the technology they use everywhere else in their lives, GM satisfies [connectivity](http://www.gmsustainability.com/report.html#/connectivity) demands while enabling a more sustainable transportation future. Customers can use OnStar route optimization to find ways around congestion and receive real-time feedback on how to drive more efficiently. GM also is working toward a vision for connected vehicles that share information with each other and their infrastructure to help anticipate and avoid crashes.
