It makes sense, then, to celebrate our nation’s independence and the brave men and women who have sacrificed much to afford us those freedoms by honoring and supporting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). I’d like to invite you to join us as we launch a new campaign on our Connect For Good community at causes.com. We’re setting out to raise funds and awareness for the WWP’s Warriors to Work™ program that provides career guidance and support services to help transition into the civilian workforce. WWP specialists work with each individual warrior to match their skills and experience to the needs of hiring managers. On our [Connect For Good community](http://www.causes.com/HiringVeterans), you can share the great work of Wounded Warriors or let your friends know about job opportunities for veterans and their family members at AT&T and just by doing so, you can earn a donation of support for the Wounded Warrior Project. From aggressively recruiting top veteran talent, to offering peace of mind to our deployed employees and their families by providing them differential pay and other benefits, to supporting initiatives like this one and [Helping Heroes Home](http://www.causes.com/americanheroes) , we’re honored to support the members of our armed services. Recently, AT&T revealed plans to lead an initiative with JPMorgan Chase and the [100,000 Jobs Mission](http://100000jobsmission.com/) to launch a veteran talent exchange later this year. The exchange will enable active-duty military and veteran job candidates to “opt-in” to a talent-sharing database to facilitate the sharing and referral of veteran candidates among participating 100,000 Jobs Mission member companies. Today, more than 70 companies have joined the mission, and are on track to reach the 100,000 goal with 64,628 veterans hired as of March 31, 2013. We all know someone who has bravely served in our armed forces.
