 # Coming 'Out' to the Box Factory

Whirlpool Pride’s annual signature event always draws a crowd and will be in the Twin Cities this year.

The event called “Out at the Box” will be 6-10 p.m. June 9 at the Box Factory of the Arts in St. Joseph.

Randy Maples, co-lead for Pride - an employee resource group for the appliance maker - and enterprise manager at Whirlpool Corp., said the event will raise funds for the St. Joseph High School Gay Straight Alliance in the process of increasing awareness during what has become known as "pride month."
