"We were thrilled to be able to give back to our customers," said Joseph Raineri, director of marketing with Warex Terminals Corp. "There was an overwhelming feeling of goodwill resulting from the discounts, giveaways, food, and guest appearances. I hope the customers felt a sense of how much we appreciate their continued loyalty."

During the two days, nearly 200 applicants also received a $5 CITGO Gift Card and registered for the new CITGO Rewards™ Credit Card, which allows consumers to earn five cents-per-gallon for all fuel purchases at any CITGO station.

Miss New York 2013 and the newly crowned Miss America, Nina Davuluri, made a special appearance at the event on Sunday, Aug. 25. The partnership between CITGO and the Miss New York organization continues to be a valuable relationship that provides customers a unique opportunity to meet positive role models and fuel good in their local communities.

"I enjoyed meeting all of the customers who came out to the Caldor Plaza CITGO station. Being able to give back to local communities like Kingston is the best part of my job," said Davuluri. "Thank you to Warex Terminals Corporation and CITGO for fueling good, for putting on a wonderful event, and for making me feel so welcomed. I'm so glad I could be involved!"
