These communities have access to water, but have no means of purifying it. Children International and Planet Water will construct AquaTowers at Children International community centers and local schools that will purify the water and make it available for drinking and washing. Children in the communities will be taught the importance of clean water and good hygiene as it pertains to their health. Additionally, Planet Water is developing portable emergency water systems that will be stored at 10 Children International community centers in the Philippines and can be used in the wake of natural disasters.
