 Yilin was born and raised in Singapore, but it was her holidays in Europe that really shaped her distinct style and gave birth to the Choo Yilin aesthetic.

At the age of 23, Yilin launched her first line of semi-precious jewelry, which sold at many independent luxury boutiques. In 2007, after relocating to Thailand, she started working with exceptional craftsmen and artists skilled in ancient techniques of fine jewelry making.
