**Happy Arbor Day from SCS!**

Forests are an integral part of a healthy environment and economy, in both rural and urban communities. Responsible forest management assures that wood resources are not over-harvested, protects sensitive ecosystems, sequesters greenhouse gases, and supports the livelihoods of indigenous people. SCS Global Services has been working since 1991 to independently certify companies and organizations at the cutting edge of sustainable forestry.
