The Caterpillar Foundation is on a mission to alleviate poverty. Through its work, the Foundation recognizes that water is one of the most critical basic needs of people and their communities. The Caterpillar Foundation, together with its global partners, launched the Value of Water campaign to raise awareness of the value of water and the impact of the global water crisis on community health, education and economics. Women and children spend 258 million hours each day collecting water. Our partners, like Water.org and charity: water, are focused on providing innovative water solutions that are helping to open doors that never seemed possible for those who previously lived without access to water – giving them the chance to learn, to grow and to thrive.
