This past summer the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation received the news that Canadian Mist and its parent company Brown Foreman would be supporting the purchase of an ultrasound unit for the G&M.

“Thanks to the generous support of Canadian Mist Distillers and so many other community members, we were able to purchase the new ultrasound equipment that we so desperately needed,” said Jory Pritchard-Kerr, Executive Director of the CGMH Foundation. “Their donation of $100,000 allowed us to bring this new technology to the community and we thank them greatly.”

David Dobbin, General Manager of Canadian Mist, Jane Morreau Brown-Forman Senior VP, along with Randy Hemker Brown-Forman VP Director of Engineering were on hand to make the cheque presentation along with the team at Canadian Mist.

“Our employees and their families rely on the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital to care for them. We clearly understand how important it is that medical technology is regularly upgraded.” said Dobbin.

“We were so pleased that our Senior Vice President, Jane Morreau was able to see the pride on the faces of the Canadian Mist staff as we presented the cheque to the G&M. It is very important for our company and our employees to support the community where we live and work and we wanted to be a part of the impact the New Age of Care is having for so many people.”
