Defined as a state of disorder, chaos implies uncertainty, risk, and instability. If left unmanaged, stability can fall into uncertainty. But given proper care and energy, a stable system can emerge from a complex and disordered state.

As we emerge from the current economic ‘uncertainty’, an opportunity for improve business stability lies ahead. The ability to bring order from disorder leads to stability, and the ability to keep it from falling back into uncertainty leads to sustainability. For many companies, this chaos discussion begins and ends with the supply chain.
