Business Suits Delivered to New Orleans Domestic Violence Shelters for Women Searching for Jobs

Jan. 17, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Independent Sales Directors attending the Mary Kay Leadership conference in New Orleans take time from conference activities to donate gently used professional attire to domestic violence survivors searching for jobs. The suits will be delivered to Crescent House, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans and The Metropolitan Center for Women and Children. This is part of Mary Kay Inc. and the Mary Kay Foundation’s Suits for Shelters program.

The Mary Kay Suits for Shelters program began in 2009 and collects professional attire for women who are survivors of abuse. The Mary Kay Foundation, together with the help of Mary Kay Inc. and Independent Beauty Consultants across the U.S., have donated 11,778 suits to date.
