 # Benchmarking and Balancing Your Benefits - Original Conference Board Research Results

##### Karla Thorpe, Associate Director, Compensation Research Center, Governance and HR Management, The Conference Board of Canada

Learn from a benefits survey of almost 1,700 senior human resource leaders in over 250 organizations. Participants were predominantly from medium and large-size Canadian organizations across a variety of regions and sectors.

The largest segment of the study explores the cost issues in a wide range of employer-sponsored benefit programs that include legally required elements like Canada Pension Plan, Quebec Pension Plan, and Employment Insurance, as well extended healthcare, dental, life, accident, and paid leave coverage.

The report provides sound data that will enable you to benchmark your programs against those of your peers and other organizations you compete with for talent.
