 # Balfour Beatty Construction’s Nancy Novak Honored with the Women Construction Owners and Executives’ 2015 Mobius Award

DALLAS, April 7, 2015 /3BL Media/ - The Women Construction Owners and Executives, USA (WCOE) has honored [Balfour Beatty Construction’s](http://www.balfourbeattyus.com/) Nancy Novak with its 2015 Mobius Award. The Mobius Award is given each year to a select group of individuals, companies and members of Congress who support and further WCOE’s mission and goals. Novak serves as vice president of operations at Balfour Beatty Construction and brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the organization.

Novak was recognized at the WCOE’s Gala Awards Dinner at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on March 30, 2015. The ceremony was part of the WCOE’s Women Build America Annual Leadership Conference. The [WCOE](https://www.wcoeusa.org/) exists to create opportunities for, influence legislation about, and support women-owned construction companies and women executives in the construction industry.

In her role at Balfour Beatty Construction, Novak helps drive the company’s commitment to employee inspiration through her leadership across the company’s most innovative project teams, and the development of new construction tools and processes that help make the company a forward-thinking, great place to work.

Novak is heavily involved in organizations that lead the way for technology advancement and advocating for women's leadership in the construction industry. Her passion for advancing women in business is expressed through organizations such as Women in Government Relations (WGR), Women Construction Owners and Executives (WCOE), the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI), and the Sewall-Belmont House in Washington, D.C.
