The chefs introduced students to new ingredients and showcased healthy alternatives for familiar ingredients in traditional fan-favorite tailgate dishes. The event also featured football-themed athletic activities, such as a football toss, a relay sprint and obstacle course and a beanbag toss. “This is a great way to celebrate Aramark’s commitment to health and wellness around the Super Bowl,” said Aramark Regional Vice President Alison Birdwell. “The tailgate theme is a natural opportunity to build excitement for the game while encouraging students to discover how great healthy food tastes and how making the right food choices can help them reach their goals and accomplish anything.” Neighborhood Centers Inc., a longtime Aramark partner, is a pioneering community development organization that has impacted and transformed neighborhoods across the Greater Houston region for 110 years.
