Campaign: [Arrow's CSR Mission: Innovating Tomorrow](/news/campaign/arrows-csr-mission-innovating-tomorrow)
Johannesburg, South Africa – In June, Altron Arrow partnered with [Resolution Circle](http://www.resolutioncircle.co.za/) to educate 120 South African students in engineering, mobile phone skills and battery repairs.
After building a relationship with Resolution Circle, the companies set out to reach hundreds of South African unemployed youth by upskilling student interns with practical workforce learning skills and micro business development training.
“Investing in young people generates business opportunities and development that expand current markets. Digitization, in particular, can contribute to long-term social stability through financial inclusion and new market approaches,” said Peter Griffiths, managing director of Alton Arrow. “The joint venture between Altron and Arrow is a perfect partnership which allows us to deliver innovation that matters.”
Although the program is still in its piloting stages, the end goal is to expand nationally. In a market of over 20 million South African cell phone users, this knowledge base and time investment can truly propel the innovators of tomorrow.
