Morton explained the double benefit of CSR programs. Not only do corporate initiatives help communities to prosper, but they benefit corporate culture and allow employees to develop new skill sets. Morton also notes that behavior expectations are changing, and corporate social responsibility must change from being a function of human resources to a fully integrated part of corporate culture.
