 # Alkermes Employees Participate in Day of Service on MLK Day

The Alkermes Mosaic Employee Resource Group (ERG) invited all employees you to participate in a day of service on Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day on January 18. Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an iconic leader, who played an influential role in the civil rights movement. He famously said, “Everyone can be great because everybody can serve.”

This is the only Federal holiday encouraging Americans to volunteer within their communities. This year, Alkermes invited all interested employees to visit [MLKDay.gov](https://www.nationalservice.gov/serve-your-community/mlk-day-service "https://www.nationalservice.gov/serve-your-community/mlk-day-service") to select from one of 10 virtual projects.
