3BL Media Recognized by Springfield Chamber as Region’s Third Fastest Growing Company

3BL Media Recognized by Springfield Chamber as Region’s Third Fastest Growing Company
Dave Armon
Monday, Oct 31st, 2016

When 3BL Media advertises for talent on job boards in western Massachusetts, we’ve used the phrase, “Silicon Alley Meets the Pioneer Valley.”

Juxtaposing New York City’s bustling media tech scene against the beautiful backdrop of the Berkshires seems to be working for 3BL Media, which has just been honored by the Springfield Regional Chamber for being third in revenue growth among regional companies.

Two of my colleagues from our Northampton headquarters, Jon Shrair and Rebecca Kreke, brought home a beautiful trophy from the Super 60 Awards in Agawam, Massachusetts, Friday. The event was covered in western Massachusetts print and broadcast media.

Jon and Rebecca are a big reason 3BL Media has flourished.

A former advertising agency owner with deep roots in New York and Springfield, Jon spends his days counseling corporate communications and sustainability professionals on ways to tell their environmental and social stories so the content is appealing to multiple audiences. Jon’s clients range from the largest pharmaceutical and insurance companies to a wealth management firm with $887 billion in assets under management.

Rebecca, who worked in community relations for the Pawtucket Red Sox after college, was a content specialist at 3BL Media prior to becoming the company’s manager of distribution earlier this year. Under Rebecca, the network of online platforms carrying the 3BL Media news feed has grown to include the UK’s Business in the Community, UN Global Compact Network Canada and other targeted sites respected by sustainability professionals.

I join Jon and Rebecca in beaming with pride over being part of the team that is among the fastest growing of any company in western Massachusetts.

Thank you, Springfield Regional Chamber, for recognizing our work.
