The Volkswagen Group with its headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany, is one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers and the largest carmaker in Europe. The Group’s goal is to offer attractive, safe and environmentally sound vehicles.

It comprises twelve brands from seven European countries: Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Scania and MAN. The Group operates 106 production plants worldwide and has 570,000 employees.

The company is classed as the Industry Group Leader in the automobiles and components sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) which evaluates the corporate economic, environmental, and social sustainability performance of a total of 31 automotive companies with reference to criteria such as environmental and climate protection strategy, innovation management and corporate social responsibility.
