Video Tribute to 2013 Warrior Games Presented by Deloitte

The 2013 Warrior Games presented by Deloitte featured 260 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans from five U.S. teams (Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations) and the British Armed Forces team competing over six days at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and the U.S. Air Force Academy. In addition to Deloitte, the presenting sponsor, the fourth annual competition is also supported by the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, USO, Fisher House Foundation, AT&T, BP, Budweiser, Semper Fi Fund and Daniels Fund. The Warrior Games, presented by Deloitte and organized by the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC), are designed to introduce wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to Paralympic sport competition and encourages them to stay physically active.  The competition was held in Colorado Springs, Colo., May 11-16, 2013.  Two-hundred sixty injured service members and veterans participated in the fourth annual event, representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations, as well as one international team from the U.K.  Teams competed in seven sports including archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track & field and wheelchair basketball.
