BJ’s Wholesale Club is proud to announce that its Feeding Communities program achieved a major giving milestone as 30 million pounds of nutritious food has been donated to local Feeding America® food banks since its launch in November 2011. The 30 million pounds of food equates to 25 million meals* to help individuals and families struggling with hunger.

“At BJ’s Wholesale Club, what is not sold is shared,” said Laura Sen, president & CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club. "We are deeply committed to help solve hunger and the ongoing efforts under BJ’s Feeding Communities program ensures that healthy food can reach the people that need it most.”

*According to the USDA, 1.2 pounds = 1 meal secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.
