Thousands of Viacom employees across the company joined colleagues to give back on April 20 for Viacommunity Day, Viacom’s long standing annual day of service. From caring for the elderly to feeding the hungry,  building and beautifying public spaces to furthering the company’s commitment to education, employees participated in hundreds of projects, each of which touched lives and improved the community in a unique and impactful way.  This year, employees participated in dozens of locations around the globe, including Africa, Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, Hungary, Japan, Korea, London, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore and the United States, making 2012 the most successful Viacommunity Day to-date.  It was also the most social, with employees tweeting over 1,500 #Viacommunity tweets from their projects, and select tweets running on the MTV Times Square billboard throughout the day.
