Staples Opens New Spring Store in Houston, Donates $15K to Student Conservation Association

Celebrating with a unique ribbon "shredding" ceremony and $15K donation to the Student Conservation Association, Staples marked the opening of its first store in Spring Friday at 19507 Interstate 45 North.

Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle attended the opening, along with representatives from the Student Conservation Association of Houston and the Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce.

Staples General Manager Ken Stevens presented the Student Conservation Association of Houston with a $15,000 donation to support the Community Conservation Crews program that provides urban youth throughout Houston with environmental education and work experience through the summer.
