Solar Ship: An Amazing Ultra-Futuristic Vehicle Concept

In the near-future delivery trucks will land on soccer fields to deliver goods and services to hard-to-reach places.   A Toronto company called Solar Ship is developing a solar-powered truck that can haul up to 12 tons of cargo and reach a top speed of 85 kilometers per hour. The truck is a hybrid of airship and airplane. The delta-shaped truck can be filled with helium gas while the solar panels can generate the electricity needed to drive the truck forward and into the air.   According to the company, the first prototype ship has already completed an initial trial flight. The company is still developing the truck to improve its performance. If the truck is successful, it could become an alternative means of cargo transport to access areas without roads or with limited space to take off or land.
