Responsible Sourcing Network Director to Speak at Global Conflict Minerals Symposium

Patricia Jurewicz, Director of As You Sow's Responsible Sourcing Network, announced as speaker at the Global Conflict Minerals Symposium.  Patricia has participated in numerous ground-breaking projects, from human rights and labor abuses, to forced labor and extortion at the commodity level of supply chains.  As You Sow's Responsible Sourcing Network ensures global supply chains are held accountable to the people and environments they touch at the raw commodity level. 

This event, presented by the Conflict Minerals Consortium coincides with the 1-year anniversary of the Dodd-Frank Section 1502 Conflict Minerals Final Rule.  

The invitation-only Symposium will provide senior corporate and compliance executives, regulatory officials from across the globe, leading academia and NGO officers with a forum to share their practical experience, insights, and vision for achieving conflict free sourcing practices globally with the implementation of effective regulations.
