A Year in Review: RSF 2010 Annual Report

We are pleased to announce the publication of our 2010 Annual Report. It has been incredibly exciting to reflect on all that has been accomplished in the past year. Building upon the momentum of the 2009 Annual Report, this publication features even more dynamic photos, testimonials, and narrative to illustrate our work. Catch up on highlights from each of our program areas -Investing, Lending, and Giving- accompanied by some inspiring stories from the organizations we support. Also learn more about how we are working to transform the way the world works with money through high touch engagement with the RSF community and our innovative uses of capital.

Celebrate Rudolf Steiner: 150 Years Transforming the World

In honor of Rudolf Steiner's 150th birthday, RSF Social Finance is hosting a festival in San Francisco on Sunday, September 25, 2011 to commemorate his life and legacy.

Through food & wine tastings, educational workshops, and art activities, we'll pay tribute to Steiner's accomplishments in the fields of education, farming, art, social and natural sciences, and economics.

The festival will be held at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio, San Francisco from 11am – 4pm.

 

April and May 2011 Grant Making Activity

One of May’s grantees was Every Person Has a Story (EPHAS) , an organization dedicated to bringing voice to underserved or overlooked groups through photography and creating cross-cultural communities through the sharing of vision and imagery of our own individual worlds. RSF Quarterly Pricing Meeting: Embracing Community

Two RSF Borrowers Chosen as SVN Innovation Award Finalists

Two members of the RSF community have been chosen as finalists in the 2011 SVN Innovation Award competition. BALLE Community Capital Scholarship Recipients

RSF provided six Community Capital Scholarships for the recent BALLE ‘Place Matters’ Conference held June 14-17 in Bellingham, WA. This is the second year RSF has worked with BALLE to offer scholarships for individuals who are transforming the way their communities work with money.
