In partnership with the Wholistic Transformation Resource Center (WTRC), PepsiCo Philippines helped open a seventh Waterhope station in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in Gapan City to celebrate the opening.

Launched in the Philippines by PepsiCo Asia Pacific, and since carried to other countries in the region, Waterhope is a social enterprise that empowers disadvantaged communities by building water stations to provide safe, clean, affordable water to thousands of people each day. Each Waterhope station offers community residents an opportunity to improve their economic livelihood through micro-water dealerships, or the buying and selling of water to customers in the community. The stations also have a community center that becomes the hub for social development programs such as medical and dental treatments, reading programs, and more.
