With its two year anniversary just a month away, the PepsiCo Dream Machine recycling initiative is continuing to grow its U.S. presence with new partnerships. North American supermarket chain Safeway recently launched the initiative as a pilot program, spanning five Vons locations across Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks, Calif. The pilot will not only offer recyclers reward points, coupon offerings and the chance to help support U.S. veterans with disabilities, but will also provide on-the-job training for LA Conservation Corps (LACC) members.
