OXFORD, N.Y., Nov. 12, 2012 /3BL Media/ – Oxford Analytica and the United Nations Global Compact have agreed to partner on integrating the macro and corporate dimensions of sustainability, in an effort to assist Global Compact participants and stakeholders in meeting the global sustainability challenge.

Through this new partnership, Oxford Analytica will act as a key information supplier for the UN Global Compact, providing analysis and thought leadership on the linkages between global economic, social and political trends and their impact on business.

The agreement comes on the heels of close collaboration earlier this year, during which Oxford Analytica developed a comprehensive briefing report on sustainable development, The Future We Want: Issue Analysis, for the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum. Nader Mousavizadeh, CEO of Oxford Analytica, also led the Forum’s Closing Plenary Session, which convened chief executives with leaders from Government, civil society and the United Nations to discuss and identify strategies for a new era of global sustainability.

Nader Mousavizadeh, CEO of Oxford Analytica, said: “This collaboration demonstrates Oxford Analytica’s ability to assist organisations in their understanding of how geopolitical, macroeconomic and societal trends impact corporate sustainability. We look forward to working with the UN Global Compact to address the challenges faced by businesses now and in the coming years.”

“The UN Global Compact is pleased to collaborate with Oxford Analytica and its network of global experts on critical topics related to politics, economics and societies – which we believe will help propel business toward improving its corporate sustainability performance over the long-term,” said Georg Kell, UN Global Compact Executive Director.
