On Jan. 26, Mountain Dew and Burton Snowboards unveiled a full line of sustainable snowboard gear at the 2012 SIA Snow Show in Denver to an audience of more than 20,000 retail buyers, sales reps and industry professionals. The clothing is part of Burton’s Green Mountain Project (GMP), and made from post-consumer PET sourced from recycled bottles from Mountain Dew and other Pepsi soft drinks.

In November 2011, Mountain Dew and Burton announced the multi-year partnership and launched an exclusive line of sustainable t-shirts as part of the GMP. At SIA, Mountain Dew and Burton debuted a full line of GMP outerwear (snow pants and jackets) made from recycled PET that is part of Burton’s 2013 collection, which will hit stores September 2012.
