Minds Meet over Medicaid at MESC 2013

We’ve heard a lot about federal and state forces collaborating with private institutions to reconstruct the American healthcare system, but what does that process actually look like?

Learn more about our healthcare system at this year’s Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC). From September 8 to 12, thought leaders from the public and private spheres will descend on Charleston, South Carolina to exchange ideas, innovations and experiences in healthcare transformation.

Industry experts will join state and federal government officials to discuss:

  • Eliminating fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) from Medicaid
  • Leveraging data for better care outcomes
  • Comparing states’ approaches to implementing healthcare marketplaces
  • Using analytics to impact high-risk populations
  • Discovering new approaches to provider data management

Keynote speakers Ken Miller and David Goldhill will challenge attendees to be frank about the costly inefficiencies plaguing both government and industry. Both speakers will use real-world experiences to radically re-think current processes and strategies, paving a new path towards a more efficient healthcare system.

There will be plenty of networking opportunities, including carriage rides through historic Charleston and a harbor cruise.

While you're there, don’t forget to visit the Verisk Health (Booth 52) to learn more about how our solutions are helping state governments and Medicaid plans prepare for the coming 17-million-person influx of new Medicaid consumers.
