Michael Bloomberg Praises China, Pans Trump On Climate Change

It has never been more important for the United States and China to work together on common goals, Bloomberg founder and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told a small audience including Chinese government officials assembled at the Asia Society in New York Wednesday.

China is America's largest trading partner and the reverse is also true for China, making the countries intertwined on "climate change, trade and finance," Bloomberg said. He put a strong plug in for healthy competition to "get the best prices for consumers" and to create jobs globally. As founder of the financial data and media giant Bloomberg, he also took time to note that his company's data network is the first to include new China bond data as the country cautiously opens its markets to trade, something Bloomberg wants more of.
