Merck has been recognized as one of the Top 50 STEM Workplaces for Native American Professionals list by the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). Merck made the Top 50 list for the fifth consecutive year in the latest report published in Winds of Change magazine.

At Merck, we understand the importance of diversity and inclusion and know that having diverse perspectives drives innovation and our business. Being recognized in this way is important as we continue to strive to increase the pipeline of American Indian STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) students joining Merck and to partner with AISES and other key leaders in Indian Country to increase the number of American Indian students entering STEM disciplines.

We uphold global diversity and inclusion as a core value in everything we do. It’s how we foster a culture of true inclusion for all. From respecting and valuing people, to learning by sharing ideas with each other, to supporting the career advancement of our employees, collaborating for success is critical to our mission of saving and improving patients’ lives.
