CAMPAIGN: A Commitment to Ending Domestic Violence

As the saying goes, “Growing up is hard to do.” And nobody knows that better than high school students. Besides working hard to make good grades, they’re trying to figure out who they are and what they want to do with their lives.  Then add the pressures of relationships on top of all of that. High school students juggle a lot!

That’s why Mary Kay and loveisrespect sat down with Dallas Skyline High School’s varsity football coaches and players before school starts to talk about healthy and unhealthy relationships. With dating abuse affecting one in three young people in the United States today, Mary Kay is committed to helping prevent and end domestic violence by supporting resources for teens and young adults to seek help to break the cycle of abuse. One of the topics discussed was redefining what it means to “Man Up” by encouraging these young men to be positive role models in their community.
