LA Galaxy Foundation to Host 5th Annual LA Galaxy 5K and Cozmo Family Fun Run Presented by Herbalife Nutrition at StubHub Center on June 10
Race Proceeds to Benefit AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation; Health and Wellness Initiatives
LOS ANGELES, June 6, 2017 /3BL Media/ – AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation will host the 5th Annual LA Galaxy 5K and Cozmo Family Fun Run presented by Herbalife Nutrition at StubHub Center on Saturday, June 10. The first 1,000 participants to register will receive a free race day shirt and one LA Galaxy II ticket to the June 25 vs. Sacramento Republic FC game. The deadline to pre-register online for $40 is Thursday, June 8 at 5 p.m. PT with walk-up registration available for $50.
The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT with the course twisting and turning throughout StubHub Center to finish inside StubHub Center’s Main Stadium, where the first 1,000 runners to cross the finish line will receive an LA Galaxy 5K and Cozmo Family Fun Run race medal.
Cheering on participants will be LA Galaxy President Chris Klein and LA Galaxy players Joao Pedro Machado, Rafael Garcia, Jack McInerney, Bradley Diallo and Nathan Smith, who will also present runners with medals at the finish line. Also in attendance will be the LA Galaxy Star Squad and team mascot, Cozmo.
The first three male and female runners to finish will receive the following:
- 1st Place: The opportunity to attend an LA Galaxy away match with one guest + Custom LA Galaxy 5K Jersey (Trip includes: airfare, hotel and (2) game tickets - complements of Herbalife Nutrition.)
- 2nd Place: Two (2) tickets to watch an LA Galaxy home match from the Herbalife Suite at StubHub Center + Custom LA Galaxy 5K Jersey
- 3rd Place: Adidas shoes + Custom LA Galaxy 5K Jersey
Other activities will include music provided by DJ Los, photos, an equipment sale, food available for purchase; including breakfast burritos from Chancho’s Tacos and Amazebowls, and more.
