Jennifer James Named to Boston Advisory Board of Leading Cities

BOSTON, March 23, 2017 /3BL Media/ – Jennifer James, Smart City Solutions Lead for Black & Veatch, has been selected to serve on the Boston Advisory Board of Leading Cities. The nonprofit global network promotes sustainable and resilient Smart City solutions by encouraging diplomacy and collaboration.

Jennifer assumes the role with more than 20 years of experience helping cities and communities become more sustainable and resilient to ultimately better the lives of citizens. Jennifer previously led market development efforts for Black & Veatch’s innovative Smart Integrated Infrastructure (SII) business, which helps cities and communities leverage advances in smart infrastructure, communications technology and data analytics to achieve their Smart City goals.

Jennifer is a member of Status Novi (Systems Thinking for Social Impact) and a former Harvard Systems Thinking fellow. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Management from the Harvard University Extension School and an undergraduate degree in Business and Marketing.
