(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) New York, NY - April 14, 2011 - Ian Spaulding, Managing Director of INFACT Global Partners, announced the 2011 China Social Compliance Leadership Series. In view of the increasingly challenging environment in China and restricted corporate CSR budgets, the theme for this year’s seminar series is New Priorities for Social Compliance

The series is two seminars in one, each focused on doing more with less. For retailers and brands, seminars will be available in London on June 7, New York City on June 14, and San Francisco on June 16 where the focus will be on Maximizing Impact of Social Compliance Spend. For factories, importers and Asian operations of major brands and retailers, seminars will be available in Shanghai on July 5- 6 and Shenzhen on July 12-13 where the focus will be Social Compliance: Key Performance Indicator of Productivity.

“2010 was a very important year for highlighting where real CSR progress had been made. It has become the catalyst for many organizations to fine tune their CSR priorities.” said INFACT Global Partners Managing Director Ian Spaulding. “We are seeing many organizations take a long hard look at their CSR initiatives attempting to really assess cost benefit. This is the essence of this new series.”

“Increasingly we are finding that being a high performer in social compliance is synonymous with being effective in driving productivity improvements. In the factory seminar, a number of leading edge manufacturers are going to share their experiences driving productivity initiatives and how this leads to improved compliance results, ,” said Mr. Spaulding.
INFACT will once again be partnering with Bureau Veritas, who will be the Premier sponsor of the series. As one of the market leaders in social and quality compliance monitoring, Bureau Veritas offers a very deep understanding of the types of challenges Chinese factories are facing by sector by geographic region.
