“We are proud supporters of organizations like the American Red Cross that assist millions of people and make a significant impact across the country,” said Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line. “The variety of aid that the American Red Cross is able to supply is astounding, and we are honored to play a small part in helping them make a difference.”

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The Central Florida Region of the American Red Cross serves 19 counties and nearly eight million people. As one of the nation’s premier humanitarian organizations, the American Red Cross is dedicated to helping people in need throughout the United States, and in association with other Red Cross networks, throughout the world. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.

“Thank you to Holland America Line for hosting our luncheon in such a beautiful setting,” said Linda Jorge Carbone, CEO of the Central Florida Region of the American Red Cross. “Our organization operates on donations, and without partners like Holland America Line we would not be able to have such a widespread, positive impact.”
